Terms of Service

1. Your Account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Surf. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

2. Your Content

You own the content you create and share on Surf. By posting, you grant Surf a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your content solely to operate and improve the service. For example, this includes serving your posts to your followers, generating previews, and producing transcoded video renditions.

You are responsible for the content you post. Do not post content that is illegal, infringes the rights of others, or violates these terms.

3. Acceptable Use

Do not abuse the platform: no harassment, impersonation, spam, malware distribution, scraping at scale, attempts to circumvent rate limits or security controls, or interference with other users’ use of the service.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice, to protect the community and the service.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid tiers are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

5. Service Changes and Availability

Surf evolves continuously. Features may change, be added, or be removed. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Surf is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Surf and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Termination

You may stop using Surf and delete your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use of Surf after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
